*Talked to a source within the DeSoto Police Department this morning. He says that, according to one of the detectives working the case, Dez Bryant admitted to assaulting his mother when he turned himself in to the cops Monday afternoon. That would explain Dez’s silence. His lack of a statement. His sudden absence from Twitter. He did it. And he’s ashamed. At least that’s my theory.
Maybe this is why the Cowboys have not put out a statement just yet. Although I am not sure if Jerry and Stephen will ever advise Dez to sit at a podium and answer questions on this subject.

Obviously, this guy has anger issues. And that is not good, because the rest of the league knows it. Imagine how simple and easy it will be now for opponents to throw him off his game. You know these guys talk trash to each other on the field all the time. It’s about getting into another player’s head and making him think about something other than football. Just say something to Dez about his mother, and watch out world.
Nothing good can come from this. I seriously doubt the Cowboys are going to allow Bryant to address this issue, but it’s going to come up in every interview he gives anywhere, every time. And the other players are going to be questioned about it as well. Nothing good can come from this. It’s a distraction at the worst time.
