Nantz: Romo told me Hawkins named after Ben Hogan

This is great evidence for the people who blast Tony Romo in saying he can’t win a Super Bowl because he loves golf more than football…

Weird that I really wasn’t checking out much golf today and when I turn it on for a few minutes I catch this little segment, lol.

And for the record this has nothing to do with Romo not being able to win big games. There are a bunch of other players on the field during a football game folks.

Tony Romo does more than enough to win games.

Write this down. After the Lions game last season I was so disappointed in Romo that I changed my mind on believing he could take the Cowboys to a championship.

As of today I am back on board the Romo bandwagon. Romo can and will lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory at some point in time.

Witten: We have chemistry and good leaders on Cowboys

It’s a close race fbetween DeMarcus Ware and Jason Witten for who deserves a championship more based on the career so far…

Witten has always said there were enough leaders on this team. I just wish there was some proof to say he was right. All the collapses and big let downs are hard to overlook and they are the reason why people don’t this team has enough leaders.

The idea is that if you have enough good leaders they don’t allow the team to fall apart when crunch time comes around. Let’s see what happens in 2012.

Carr says offseason training reason he is so durable

This clip was from a while ago when Brandon Carr visited ESPN, but they finally fixed the audio on it…

Coaches love players who can just be ready to go every Sunday. Another big reason he’s worth the big money was his ability to stay on the field for all sixteen games every year.

Murray: Jason Garrett is an ‘Offensive Guru’

DeMarco Murray really loves him some Jason Garrett…

Murray says Garrett is an offensive guru on 105.3 The Fan

The sense of urgency comment was good to hear from a smart guy like Murray. I think Murray has that ‘Witten like’ mentality. Make sure you are prepared at 100% and do your job on a consistent basis.

Cowboys do great things when he gets his 20 carries a game.

Are the Cowboys one of the most talented NFL teams?

Are the Cowboys one of the most talented teams in the NFL right now?

It’s May 25th. Arrrgghhh! I want to see this team on the field already.

Miles is poised to come back with a big season. Dez may finally be getting it. Offensive line is hungry and the competition there is going to make guys better. This defense finally has two starting CB’s who can be game changers. Sean Lee is the defensive leader and everyone knows this and embraces it. Broaddus had good things to say about young guys like Carter, Lissemore, Leary, Holmes and Butler.

And I even think Jason Garrett has to have learned from some of the coaching mistakes he made last season. He will be better this season because he’s now settled in as the man in charge of the team.

Right now I don’t see how this team doesn’t come away with at least 10 wins. They have a great training camp and that number could go to 12.

The injuries. At least none of them are going to keep guys away from training camp.

New School: Broaddus talks about Arkin and Leary at OTA’S

Here’s Bryan Broaddus on with Shan and Choppy talking about the Cowboys at OTA’s…

Broaddus on 105.3 The Fan – May 24

Leary just seems like a more ready made Guard who can just get on a defender and envelop him. Arkin is the guy who can move well and get out on a pull that will find his assignment. That;s going to be a very interesting battle for that Right Guard job in training camp.

Good stuff on the WR’s in here.

Romo: Is it NFC Champ game or else in 2012?

Romo: Is it NFC Champ game or else in 2012?

Considering they have no one behind him who is young and pushing for playing time I say no. He will be here for a few more years.
