Broaddus: Cowboys allowed Dez situation to get out of control

Here’s Bryan Broaddus on with The Fan earlier today…

Broaddus says Cowboys let Dez get out of control

You know why Broaddus is my number one guy. These interviews. He works for the Cowboys now so he could hold back, but that’s not his style. He’s always honest. And I agree with the way he called out Slater, the female host, for what she said in here. You hit a women you are done.

And Broaddus is right. Dez has been getting a free ride on some of the little incidents he’s had previously. Not everything gets out in the news.

The police report is not fact. That is the claim being made by the crackhead mom. Slater is actually right that you have to wait for the court decision when some facts from both sides comes out.

  2. The Soothsayer says:

It doesn’t matter. This is in the news now, and it’s going to be in the news until the court rules.

Maybe he slapped his mother. Maybe he didn’t. Either way it just looks bad for the Cowboys.

Broaddus is right. This team has not handled Bryant well and allowed the situation to get out of control. And now he’s facing jail time. Wonderful.

Is this going to derail the Cowboys’ season? I don’t know. It certainly could, but the games have yet to be played.

All I know is that nothing good is going to come from this. The last thing the Cowboys need at this point is negative publicity.

He has this David Wells guy as the advisor. So far, it seems Mr Wells just comments on how Dez is sorry for whatever negative incident is going on. And the mom was called Ms. Wells by the 911 operator. That tells me that her call id said “Wells”. The mom must be supported by Dez and David Wells. I don’t trust her. She is on probation right now for crack and has done time in prison. I bet she is mad about something not related to the incident Saturday night and is being vindictive. Money maybe?
I heard Broaddus say that Calvin Hill is employed by the Cowboys to work with troubled players. I wonder if Dez has been in to work with him on his issues? Will the Cowboys require him to do so?
