Billick breaks down the Defensive Free Agents

Here’s Brian Billick of Fox Sports breaking down the Defensive Free Agents on the market come Tuesday…

Cowboys need to make sure they find a veteran CB and a veteran DE in the next month. They can go after a Safety, OLB and NT as well, but making sure those two positions are targeted first is the priority. Terence Newman and Kenyon Coleman should not be on this team in 2012.

Would love to see Mario Williams playing for the Cowboys, but I don’t see Jerry spending all that money on him when he’s paying Ware so much already.

No to Carlos Rogers. He was a product of the 49ers having a solid front seven. Finnegan would be fine with me because he’s a brawler and he can definitely play man coverage all day long. This defense could use a gritty player like Finnegan.

This means that they are going to be very agressive in free agency for the next couple of years.
