Good film of Aston Whiteside in college…

He was a DE in college, but the Cowboys played him at ILB in the recent rookie minicamps. Looks like even more competition for Bruce Carter.

    Looks like he should be played as a OLB, seems to rush the ball well. ILB would put him in more coverage which doesn’t look like his forte.

    Looks like ILB was the best position for him to me. He really doesn’t have that edge rush that teams are looking for, but he has a strong inside move and moves well through traffic. ILB coverage responsibilities are a lot of deep drops in zone coverage anyway. The man coverages involve the SOLB also so he would still have to learn there.

    nice player loved the video . definitely has a nose for the ball and very active . can’t wait to watch preseason games bc he and adrian hamilton will get a lot of playing time . i’m stoked
